ABOUT US

The Cave is a unique business in Milford on Sea with a multi-purpose use. Created by Jon, it serves as an off-license specialising in premier quality wines, spirits and beers as well as an on-license wine bar and tapas restaurant. Opened in May 2013, The Cave has served thousands of locals and visitors alike and has proved to be a popular destination venue for a number of social gatherings.

Since 1990, Jon who resided in Milford as a lad, trained with the De Vere group of hotels and travelled the lengths and breadths of the country working tirelessly to achieve his diploma in hospitality and catering, where he studied at Bournemouth Catering College and passed his HMICA in 1994.

Since 1999 he has continually demonstrated that he is natural entrepreneur opening a number of successful restaurants, cafes and a boutique hotel, with a burning passion for quality, service and having fun, as well as a parent to Sam , aka (Little Legs)!

Jon's passion for wine & hospitality shines through at The Cave with the help of his loyal and committed staff. He loves to see people enjoy good company, in stylish and relaxing surroundings, and experience quality drinks and food for all budgets.

A warm welcome is always ensured at any time of day, albeit with a light lunch, afternoon tea/coffee, through to pre-dinner or after-dinner drinks to finish off your evening in style.
